I need some new pedals for a kids bike.

How do I measure the size of the axle,is it simply the diameter?

    Thanks

They’re either 9/16″ (normal size for most bikes) or 1/2″ (BMX 1-piece cranks and some kiddie stuff).

So if it’s smaller than the pedals on your own bike, it’s likely 1/2″. If it’s anything else you’re probably going to be SOL finding new pedals !
