Got to fix door profiles to the tile/wooden floor interface – what’s best to fix it down? It’s a concrete subfloor so would rather use adhesive…

    Expanding foam and weights.

Sounds messy…Any reason to use this as opposed to something like grip fill?

Which door profile? The ones I have fitted come with a plastic U-channel that is nailed/screwed/gripfilled to the subfloor and the decorative profile is clipped into this.

    See the pic here:

I’d hardly trust myself with Pritt stick let alone foam filler 😉 but I’ll give it a bash!

Ok, I would gripfill and leave something heavy on it overnight.

I’d use gripfill too. Great stuff.

Used gripfill to secure the carpet gripper to a solid concrete floor without any drama.

But I’d prob use a decent PU/wood glue for that and only stick it to one side, so as to allow for a bit of expansion and slippage.
