  • How to Clean Old Mountain Bike Tyres With Mould?

    Have some old tyres which originally had Stans No Tubes latex in. Just got them out of storage in my damp basement and they’ve turned a mouldy yellow colour. Anyone else had this and if so how did you clean the tyres. I’m thinking a solution of water and bleach and then rinse well. The tyres have loads of tread left on them.

    ride them through some gritty mud, then jetwash / brush down

    Chuck them in a bucket of water with some Jeyes fluid in there, leave to soak overnight.
