So the time has come to replace the bearings on my Commencal 20mm hub, but I cant for the life of me work out how to remove the ‘cups’ to get to the bearings. There’s no circlip, no cut outs, nothing…anyone have any ideas??

    Many thanks in advance!

If it’s the standard joytech hub that gets rebranded a lot, they just pull out, it does take a fair bit of force, they’re not loose like hope ones, easiest if you use a flat bladed screw driver and can get some purchase on them through the hub from the opposite side.

That’s how my la’piere 20mm hub came apart.
