My new build is now pretty much finished and test-ridden, all that's left is to cut the steerer down and tidy up. I'm fairly happy with the position and don't need much in the way of spacers, but don't want to cut it too short in case of future resale/swappage – what's the minimum steerer length I should be leaving?

Its always a tough call…I tend to only use 170mm of steerer but if I cut it that short I'd struggle to find a buyer when I come to sell them on. Tend to cut to 190mm which is still fairly short for a lot of people
