    As above, Ive just got a new job, and was wondering how much it would work out as roughly after tax… Isnt it something like minus 20 percent, so that would be 1600?

    I’m getting a smidge under 1500 but am also paying student loan back so i would saying just under 1600, there are online converters and such for things like this.

    Don’t forget to deduct any pension contributions you may make (if you get one) and if you happen to get a company car don’t forget to deduct that too

    It’ll also depend on any other taxable benefits that you might get through work like health care… you’ll get taxed on the value of those.
