Two service guides on the SRAM website for the like seem to contradict each other. One says 10ml in either lower and the other says 15 and 5ml.

    Which one to go with?

I had my Pikes serviced yesterday and he mentioned that they used to only have 5ml on one side but that’s since been revised upwards.

I’ve heard it’s to do with the seal head which is a known weak point of the otherwise excellent Pike… depends on how recent the fork is, or if you’ve upgraded the seal head to the revised design, otherwise the pressure from 10ml in the damper side may lead to the damper migrating its oil into the lowers

Mine are 2016 and the bolt in the bottom of the leg has 5ml engraved on it.

10/10. The new service manual for 14- pike says 10/10 and the 2016 oil chart says the same. Can’t imagine you’ll kill them if you follow the old advice though.
