How little latex/wheel milk stuff do folk get away with in their tubeless tyres? I’m gunning for as light as possible so wondering if 50ml (half a JRA wheel milk bottle) is enough in each tube?

I reckon it would be though I use twice that much for reliability.

I tend to pour a good glug in as when it runs dry, you end up having to tube it to get home. Its not rotating weight as it stays at the bottom of the tyre (being thinish)
Reminds me I must check the level on mine.

60ml is what it says as a ‘top up’ amount.

worse case scenario – you’ll get a puncture.

Surely it will spread itself out around the circumference at modest speed?

the blue schwable sealant says every 3 months – how often do people really refill?

oh I put 50ml in each tyre (as per instructions).

Too much detail – do a big glug every time I remember, sometimes that’s too often and sometimes it’s too late -it’s bad enough trying to get ready to go out for a ride, without any additional faff

I use 50-60ml of Stans fluid in smaller tyres and 100ml in bigger volume tyres.
