Right then been a long time since I sold a bike and so need a little help here, got a bike for a friend to sell on and not sure how much to ask.

Its a 2007 rockhopper comp, 19″ in black, M4 frame, good condition and totally standard spec apart from some bomber eta forks.

What should I advertise it for to get a quick sale?

How much would you pay for it? No emotion or sentiment. If you saw it advertised for 800 quid would you think bargain or rip off?

Well a 2009 one has just gone on Ebay for £253 so I’ll give you £150 for a quick sale ?

mmm…. tbh I’d say you could get up to £350 on a good day, if you tidy it up for ebay. New, Rockhoppers are a grand now, and even the Hardrock is £300+.

But as ever, it could be anywhere between £200 and £350, really.

Can I have a go – Intense tracer, 2010 in intense red. Thompson/Easton finishing kit, SLX/XT, Fox Van R Ti Coil with RS Rev Dual Air Team (Black Box) 150’s, Mavic 719’s on Pro 2’s, C/Creek headset.

Any takers for a guestimate? 🙂
