On average between £4or£5k per year from 2001 till 2010. That’s with trade discount most of the time…
In the last three years since getting married I have totalled less than £500! Though something new and carbon may be on the horizon 🙄

Plenty, do I care? Not really, it’s occupied my evenings and weekends for over 10 years now.
I don’t change bikes every year, I don’t change tyres every ride, I choose carefully with life cost outweighing purchase price for kit & parts.
