Considered selling my trusty RS Pikes for something a bit newer (Revs, Sektors etc) which will see me through to when I go 650B. Looked on eBay and was surprised that 2nd hand Pikes are fetching near £200! Why is this?

Coz they’re good.

Because they’re reliable and rebuildable and there’s not much decent longer travel stuff with straight steerers available new.

STW may make you believe the world of mountain bkiing has either been ruined or saved by 650b, but mostly people are just riding their 26ers quite happily

Sold mine on here for £200 but they where like new with £70 worth of dual flow rebound in them.Gutted but they had to go. 😥
