Paid on the 26th July, only £7.50 no sign after a week, emailed said had been ill and would post the next day still no sign. 2weeks up tomorrow, very annoyed but probably not much I can do as used paypal gift.

Name and shame if a specific time was given for sending out I reckon, especially as it's been what 13 days now.

If person ill, surely needs another follow up e-mail at this point before name & shame. Admittedly if it was me I'd try and get someone else to post for me, but everyones circumstances are different.

You can never know for sure, but I always assume this I've been ill thing is just an excuse. For most people, being ill and off work would give you more time to get something posted. I'm 50 and apart from a stay in hospital I've never been confined to a bed for a whole week.

i aim to get all stuff i sell out the day after payment land in my paypal.

Doesn't matter how much it's for. You paid the money, they should post the item. Minute money arrives with me I let them know and let them know when it's in the post. Be nice if some let you know it'd arrived too, but that's not always the case…

I can understand a week as someone might post second class and live in a village or something, but two weeks is out of order really with no comms recently.

I do wonder if there should be some sort of user rating to give some confidence to the buyer.

Nice to see that there is someone commenting on thread who sold me an item which was different to what he stated, even after I had confirmed on e mail.

The service was quick -just not what i bought. As it wasnt a huge amount simply decided to write it off and consider it a lesson learnt.

you payed me a fiver, it cost me 6-50 to send it, i offered you a refund, you said it did not matter.

Not that bothered as now have one. How much the one you sent me new is irrelevant as I dont have a need for one. You didnt offer refund, you just said you would send what I ordered. As I said, good service, just not what i ordered, which is why I didnt mention who it was.

i think it depends what has been bought. If you have sent a large item ie parcel shipping with Royal Mail is 3-5 days…

If its somthing small that can be sent 1st class there is really no reason why they should not have it in a week.. 2 weeks though is far to long.

The case is over a £7.50 hope head doctor, I've emailed again today saying either item or money back within 24hrs or I name and shame everywhere I can think of.

I sold some tyres yesterday and posted this morning whilst on a break I don't see the problem, but unlike Ebay there is no backup using the classifieds on here, it's all based on mutual trust.
