Snaped my seat post twelve miles from home, rode back with seat in my hand standing up over a jagged shaft of metal.

so that'd be twelve miles for my contribution then.

After reading this thread from the start I to nearly commented " I can stand for as long as I like! " 😛

How wrong I was, and I'm glad I waited until tonight's bike ride to find out.
I set off from my house to meet my mates and thought about this thread so stood up. The route is on road to the meeting point and undulating but no massive hills, well I lasted 3 whole miles!!! before sitting down. 😳

So in conclusion I must try harder and no I can not stand up while pedalling.
