Slightly over 900g but oh so good on the front of my rigid steel 29er 🙂

Its lighter than a dual ply Maxxis tyre and I’d say slightly heavier than a single ply maxxis tyre.

I run one up front, or did until bike was pinched. New bike is due to have one fitted again this weekend.

For the money I don’t think much else touches them. Great grip from the dual compound and it seems a really good compromise between a durable 60a that is not mega grippy and a sticky 42a that is a real drag.

I weighed my 26″ one on crappy kitchen scales, 810g. Lighter than I expected given the description on the website. Interestingly I weighed a 26″ smorgasbord at the same time and that was 820g.

I bought a pair for the Yelli when they were about £16 each.

They certainly do stick like **** to a blanket but riding up hill is like wading through treacle.

The front is staying but I’ve got a 2.25″ Ardent going on the rear to hopefully speed things up a bit. It amuses me that I might lose 1/2 lb off the bike with just a tyre change 😆
