So I’m taking part in my first Heaven of the South event next month. I’ve read the recent thread on the north Cotswold ride with interest. How difficult is the HOTS event?

In hot weather you need to put effort in to ensure you stay hydrated – lots of people cramped on the last climb! So it’s quite long but it’s not at all technically challenging. A very scenic day out.
