  • How hard can I rag my On One Inbred?

Is an On One Inbred a suitable bike for regular dirt jumping, dual/4x, step jumps, gap jumps and general street use – and the associated crashes? Or is it just an XC bike suited for occasional aggressive riding?

the latter, although you may well get away with the former for a while it’ll probnably end in tears and a lack of front teeth.

Not sure about the standard inbred but I saw someone using a Summer Season for racing 4X at the World’s at Fort William.

vanilla Inbred geometry isn’t really suited to that kind of stuff anyway. I took mine to the Alps once and it took a hell of a beating. Pretty tough.

You should stop ragging it about a second before it breaks….

456 will do most stuff, Inbred won’t.

other than geometry, what are the main differences between the inbred and 456? i thought the 2nd gen were close to the 456 in strength terms, what with the increase in toptube size.

I used my Ti456 on the Ft Bill gondola… did the black 5 times I think.

if it’s got a CEN cetificate, then it’s plenty strong enough.

remember all the hoo-ha about the new tests? – how bikes were failing which we all knew were tough as old boots.

well, the new inbreds pass the test, they’re not delicate wee things that need carrying over the rough bits.

what’s the worst that could happen?

(please take out some good dental insurance, just in case…)
