Derbyshire? Ring the council – there’s bound to be some bridleways they could “improve” with it.

Shame you’re not close to me as I need to recover my gravel drive.

Either Freecycle as suggested or Gumtree.

Look for any developers who need aggregate for levelling out plots, as long as they have a disposal licence it’ll be fine.

I used a load of red chip for building a base for my shed and a soakaway, useful stuff when it’s not on show…

Your nearest farmer would take it away for free. If I was closer I would be there withint the hour. A million uses for a bit of gravel around the place.

Just remember that as the ‘waste holder’ you have a duty of care to ensure that it (your gravel) is appropriately managed

As a householder you are exempt from strict duty of care under Epa, it’s a lesser responsibility to take ‘reasonable’ measures. As it’s inert waste then the definition of reasonable would be fairly minimal.

And it’s not a waste if you put it out the front with a free to a good home sign.
