i understand how tubing is made.well i guess i do suppose its just made buy a machine that continually spits out lengths of tubing with the same wall thickness, but how do they make tubes that are thinner in the middle than at the ends? especially tripple butted?
what is the process and how are they "actually" made?

The end of the machine the tubes come out from is tapered and theres a tapered valve within it so as you move the valve back and forth you can alter the wall thicness where it exists the machine. That and a healthy dose of witchcraft.
