  • How do I get linkage bearings out?

Replacing the linkage bearings on my Commencal Super4 and it is being a pain! There are 4 bearings in the ‘knuckle’ between shock, frame and swinging arm. Two were really easy to get out ,just whack’em from behind , but the other two have a large integral spacer between the 2 so no way to drift them out. On motor bike wheel bearings you can move the spacer slightly enough to get purchase on the bearing but this doesn’t seem to work that way. Advice appreciated!

    I always use a rawlbolt …

put the bolt into the bearing, tighten it up and just tap the bearing out. jobs a gud’un
