I need to fix / upgrade my mk1 torro light, but I don’t seem to be able to get into the darn thing. Anyone got any idea how this might be achieved?

Yes it seems that Exposure use a very strong threadlok sealant
Wear a pair of marigolds and get the hair dryer or even better hot air paint stripper
Apply heat to ouch hot and the gloves will give you the grip to start the unscrewing

So I basically need to get it hot to melt the threadlock and then it should unscrew?
    Cool, I’ll give it a go…..

I opened an exposure once. I seem to remember it had a left handed thread.

Hmm…not managed to get it open yet. Can anyone confirm the thread direction? Trout?

don’t remember owt about left hand thread .
But do remember I had to use a stupid amount of force

I made a clamp of wood to squash in the vice to hold the body and it was a struggle I nearly gave up

I do have one in to replace the batteries in so will check after the F1 Quali this afternoon
