I need to find out about a company i brought a sofa from.

I believe it is owned by another company as the credit card receipt mentions this other company.

we are having problems finding out a manging directors details to send letters to rejecting the sofa.

Any help would be great.

WE brought the sofa from a place called.”the sofa specialists” they are based in droitwich,Worcester.

on the credit card receipt the company is called “ELS” which i believe is executive leather sofas who are always winding up and reopening under new names.

If it’s a company (i.e. name ends in limited, ltd or plc), then go to the Companies House website, and use the webcheck service.

From there, you can obtain other info (incl directors’ details) by paying for certain documents.

If it isn’t a company, or you can’t identify the name of a background company, then your only friend is google.

For free it should tell you holding company and its registered address which is always a good place to start corresponding
