    I’d love to know if a 29er wheel will fit my hardtail before I commit to buying the rim. How can I do it?

    The outside diameter of the tyre will probably not be a baw hair off the diameter of the rim. Would there be room to fit a tyre in the space thats left?

    I’ve just checked, it’ll take a road tyre or anything up to 32mm on a 700c wheel. Not sure it’s worth bothering with.
