Would prefer to keep the original rather than replace with plastic but it’s in a bad state i.e. layer upon layer of old paint that’s now cracking. Sand paper/wire wool would takes ages, electric sander may be better but is there a paint stripper that’s tough enough to do the job for me? There must be some way to avoid the hard labour involved..
