The buyers surveyor who did my house last week didn’t spot any problems. I could quite easily fill a side of A4 with jobs that need doing (non of which I’ve attempted to hide by the way).

Yes, that is why I was looking for recommendations. There are lots of companies around – Just want to make sure we pick a decent one.

Countrywide did two home buyers for us in Leeds, though as organised through our bank. Have to say I was impressed with both. First one spotted some structural issues we didn’t see (and pulled out of as a result) and second one was realistic about a 120 year old house, despite his best efforts to find damp! On the first one we ended up also getting a specialist structural survey report, which if you need that level of detail let me know and I can find their details.
