The last 24 hours I have not been getting my hotmail messages on my phone.
Tried deleting and re-installing the account but no joy.
Any ideas?

Are you using the hotmail app?

^^ in the (distant) past I had trouble with gmail not updating in the iOS mail app but the gmail one worked

If there isn’t a hotmail app use Safari … as above gmail did this for a bit. Being a cynic I wonder how much of a priority Apple have for fixing this or of course they may blame MS for changing something at their end.

Used to have mine set up as a pop account but that died. Had to set it up again as outlook.

Neither are necessary. It should work through iOS Mail. I’d try deleting the account again and switching the phone off/on before setting it up again.

Agree it should not be necessary but as I said a few years ago iOS Mail stopped working reliably so I used Gmail app.

so you haven’t used iOS mail for the last few years?

No it was only a temporary issue and for the last few years have only used iOS Mail
