Hello,

Can anyone out there recommend any decent places to stay near Brechfa, could be within a half hour radius max.

Looked online at places to stay but it looks pretty hit and miss, any local knowledge out there?

A town with a few restaurants and pubs would be good.

Nearest towns to Brechfa will be Llandeilo & Carmarthen (larger)both less than 30 min’s and plenty of places to stay at varying prices and pubs/restaurants to choose from.

We stayed here (a few years ago), its just down the road.

Absolutely the best B&B we’d ever stayed at, even down to the Landlady washing and drying 2 lots of gear worn at a very wet/mud Cwmcarn uplift.

Plus full use of lounge/bar/Sky.

+1billion for asking Carl and Ivy. I emailed them about accomodation a while bike and, even though Carl couldn’t put us up for the weekend, he took the time to pen a (very long!) missive detailing where else we could try. Epic service! Got to buy him a pint or two in the pub, though…!

(just posting as I;ll be looking for some where to stay there in a few months time)
