Good evening all, possibly embarrassing question but I’m new to doing my own mechanicing 😳

I’ve just taken deliver of a new Hope Tech Enduro – Pro 4 MTB Rear Wheel but the adaptors to go either side of it to allow for a 12mm through axle are in a plastic bag and need swapping with what’s on the hub. How do I change them out do they just prise off or are they screwed on in some way ?

    Any help much appreciated.

Mole grips and a good pull is all you need 🙂

Just pull them out, sometimes they need pliers but if new should pull out with fingers alone. Make sure when you put the new adapters in you put the right colour on the right sides (Same as the current ends)

I took the skin of my thumb pulling mine out so be careful 🙂

ONe side will inexplicably be looser than the other side (always is). Once you have one side off, tap the other out with a big Allen key. Saves damaging the tight side.
