So Mrs PPs front Pro2 cracked at the flange. Hope took it back and have replaced the hub body and rebuilt the wheel for free. Yay! 🙂

But I’d just put some of Kaesaes new bearings in the hub when I noticed the crack and I specifically asked (Over the phone and on the warranty return, highlighted in yellow) if they could swap the bearings over to the new shell.

I shall check when I get home, but it looks like they haven’t, I’m 95% sure.

Thing is, I said I’d send the shell back on it’s own and I’d rebuild the wheel myself, which is why I’m potentially a bit miffed…..

removing the bearings damages them so they can not be refitted.

I wouldn’t worry about it, they are the same bearings just without the expensive grease I run.
