    Anyone managed to fully dissmantle a Hope QR seat clamp, including getting the threaded bit out of the QR lever?

    I want to anodise it to match my pedals so need to remove all non-aluminium bits.

    Yes, did this at the weekend. Unscrew the lock nut, withdraw the lever and attached rod.
    Get two nuts threaded on the end, tighten them against each other, then holding the inner nut with a spanner (or vice) unscrew the QR lever. If the rod turns in the nuts, tighten the nuts against each other a bit more.
