  • Hope hubs with 20mm adaptors question?

    When fitting the 20mm adapter in the hub should there be any play from the bearing to the clip, in other words when the wheel is flat on the floor should you be able to move it up and down, as I have never fitted them before?

    the circlips only hold the extensions on loosely, all tightens up when there's an axle and lateral clamping by the fork

    shove a 20mm axle through and then see if there's any play – shouldn't be
