Can someone tell me the difference between the road and mtb ones? Im about to swap to one from a GXP on my cross bike I know I will need the converters but I presume the mtb ones are better sealed than the road one but not sure if that is the only difference.

I guess I need the road version for a 68mm bb shell then and will just need to fit appropriate spacers that hope suggest as the GXP one doesnt need any spacers.

The Mtb has longer threads on the cups and comes with 3 spacers and a longer central tube.

The road one has slightly narrow cups, a shorter central tube and 1 thin spacer.

The bearings in both are the same and are to fit shimano as standard, you can get either ceramic or stainless. To use GXP cranks you need the 2 ‘top hat’ spacers in the left hand bearing whichever model you choose.
