Yes a medium Cage Will work with the TRex. Used to run a general lee 40t with a medium cage no issues at all.
Think that even a short will, I tested a short X9 with a oneup 42t, and that is a little to big.

Anyone know if it will work with a zee mech?

medium cage works with the OnOne 42T so it’ll definitely work with the Hope.

Pre-ordered mine from 18 bikes, they are hopeful to get some of Hope’s first batch.

I use a zee with a 40-11 and its been fine, but don’t forget to allow for chain growth.

My 34 and 36 (gold) retainer rings are in the post from wiggle, we won’t be seeing shop stock here in Oz for a few months. Got the trex on stock alert on CRC.

Wondering, will a 30t front with a 42t Oneup and short X9 rear mech work? (I’v got a medium aswell, but it’s not a type 2/clutch)
