    I have a hope 4 led, what is the best way to store the battery over these lighter months?
    Do I let it run down flat or keep charging every now and then?

    I would imagine they're Li-ion, so store them at 50% charge and stick them in the fridge, not the freezer!

    Never store them fully charged or let them run down.
