Time to get new insurance for our stuff in a rented flat - thoughts on who would be best? M&S used to be very good.
I need cover for bikes and Apple laptops.

Home insurance - M&S still the best?

Check out ING - I switched to them from M&S which seemed to offer more cover for 1/2 the money. The website doesn't mention bikes now so ring them up about them - that's what I did.

Didn't check ING, must've been one of the few I didn't, but found M&S to be head and shoulders better and cheaper than the rest. Ideal for bikes and such goods.

They've recently changed to AXA as the underwriters instead of Norwich (I think). That said, they've added more cover as a consequence. Never claimed on them, but they seem compotent on the phone...
