    Replace the bearings or just carefullly pull the seals out and re-grease them, you might get a bit more life out of it.

    Merlin has some unbranded ones for £15. Seem alright to me.

    Hora – crc have a deore hollowtech 2 chainset and bb for £45ish

    is that a cheap option if you flog on the arms and rings?
