2 weeks in Spain one week guided biking 2 adults 1 child (3)

    2 bikes worth £4500 and a trailer (£100)

Main worry is loss and damage to bikes in transit and stored in accomadation and when out riding.

Usually use the Post Office Insurance but there is a limit of £1500 on persooal possesions, anything else out there

Did you get anywhere with this, Rich?

Looking at travel insurance for a trip to Norway. Our bikes are probably worth £500 and £750, but even Snowcard has a Single Article Limit of £500 for bikes.

How do other people cover their bikes while they're away? Not sufficiently, by the looks of things, because Snowcard and Dogtag are the usual recommendations on here, and they have SALs of £350 and £200 respectively.

I wonder if how far you'd get by arguing that a bike is a collection of single articles? If someone nicked your front wheel, say, that would have to be treated on its own. What about Front wheel, forks, stem and bars? 4 items? Even more (hub, spokes, rotors etc)? Probably not very far.

Our M&S hme insurance cover away from home, maybe worth checking yours?
We looked at snowcard for travel insurance (Not fussed about loss to property as covered with home insurance) but seemed quite pricey this year so went with dogtag to cover our medical etc….
