In my experience HMRC pay you first and tell you about it later so if you were genuinely due a rebate it’d already be in the bank.

And yes, I know there’s 46 emails in my inbox, when I updated to iOS 7, for some reason btinternet sent me a load of emails going back to 2011, and I’m taking my time going back through several hundred and deleting them. 😕
