Just got some thanks from work in the form of some gift vouchers, so armed with the aforementioned smouldering a hole in my pocket I pootled off to the halfords website to buy an edge 800 as they had an offer on last week with an edge 800 + OS mapping + camelpak MULE for £331.

Today they’ve got a sale on with £30 off every £300 spent, whooo hooo!

Except the edge has gone up to £350 and the package upto £400

No much of a sale huh? It’s gone up by £30!

So they had an offer which ended, and another one started, and you’re annoyed that you can’t use both the new one and the one which has finished?

No, annoyed that they’ve gone into a ‘sale’ and bumped the price up by £70 (although applying both offers at the same time would be mint if your reading Halfords!)

But you say yourself, it was on offer last week- so that’s not bumping up the price, that’s reducing a discount.
