    Ok. It was written by a member or past member of the band Guided By Voices, it was about music but not about GBV, it had a picture of a shelf of records on the from cover…….and I can’t remember the name or the name of the guy who wrote it…..

    …..any ideas?

    Was it James Greer?

    If so, it would be either Bee Thousand or (unsurprisingly) Guided By Voices, neither of which have a bookshelf of records on the front.

    I know the one you mean, that was the story of GBV, the book i’m thinking off has nothing to do with them, this one is really eluding me
