Camera position gives you a false sense of hope. 20m long 45° mud trench full of roots.

The photpgraphers turn up there with their deck chairs as it is a favourite spot.

The Chin is a 20 yard steep section of foot deep mud, broken limbs, blubbing CXers and broken dreams.

And then a 3 foot deep trench of mud, sweat, tears and blood at the bottom.

…and ice.

When I rode it last year there was a stray spade attached to a Tod bike builder in it too.

Cyclo cross / MTB / Grifter whatever. We had a no tandems or unicycles rule but TJ threatened to sign up, so now it is just no unicycles.

I’ve edited out the really horrible bits. We want people to sign up, not run away. My shit camera also has a habit of ‘flattening’ out the terrain, if you know what I mean.

So, Flo. How about it? You’re local aren’t you?
You can even come on a preview ride (sometime) next month.
