I’m getting a bit bored of my usual routes. I live in Leeds and usually head North towards Otley, taking in Norwood Edge, East Chevin and sometimes Greenhow Hill out of Pately Bridge.

I’ve ridden a little bit over Halifax way too, including Cragg Vale.

Any recommendations for hilly routes starting in Leeds? Distance between 50 and 80 miles.

I follow pretty much the similar route… out towards Otley, up to stainburn then up and down various fun little roads between the A59 and weston Lane.

Otherwise its out to Bradford, down to keighly, upto haworth, over the top to Hebden bridge then bounce around back roads back to Halifax, up and down lots of steep little lanes, back through Brighouse and Bradofrd back to Leeds.

As mentioned Haworth is a good area. Then Oxenhope over to Hebden. Or out of Haworth and towards Colne maybe?
