Some mighty fine weather coincided with a day off yesterday so despite bugger all fitness due to injuries and lack of riding I thought I’d get up early and head to the Lakes for a little ride. Set off from Grasmere and headed up Helvellyn via Grisdale Tarn and Dollywaggon Pike and then followed the ridge North before dropping down to the Old Coach Road and then back to Grasmere. Bloody marvellous (and extremely!) tiring day out. The views up top were stunning 🙂

That’s the type of ride I wanted to do when I was up there working last week, had to settle for doing the north and south loops at Whinlatter though due to only having a couple hours spare!
