  • High Speed 2 isn't going to bisect Aston Hill, is it?

    Just to confirm that nobody’s heard anything about Aston Hill being bisected or otherwise disrupted by High Speed 2? My understanding is that it will go through Wendover along the B4009/existing line, and therefore not affect Aston Hill.

    As a general rule trains aren’t good at going up big steep hills. Even if it goes anywhere near Aston Hill it’ll go under it rather than over/through.
