massive tough long route, but awesome.

Similar to above, but I'd take the Tarmac climb towards the dome, rather than the climb to gregs hut. Definitely clockwise, you get to see high cup open in front of you. Not an easy route, but enjoyable. We did it from garigill.

Seconded P20. Thats the way I did it on midsummer's day.
Advantage of starting/finishing at Dufton is the pub. Having a couple of pints in there before the climb to the domes is a killer!
