I have been given a yahama DSP E492 sound processor for free which is nice,

I currently am running a very old technics sa202 amp that keeps blowing a channel. with warfdale cubes and diamond 9s.

can i use that as a 4 channel amp. if not what cheap amp can I use?

Im **** useless at this stuff.

I just like listening to music, probably a bit to loud but meh.

Seem to recall that the 492 was a three channel amp for a centre speaker and a pair of rear speakers @60w a channel.
It will power a single pair of speakers just fine through the rear two outputs provided that the surround processing on the amp is turned off.

I still have an old DSP-A5 which has 4x70w out which happily powers two pairs of speakers. I think it was about £40-50 at Cashgenerator or similar.

Edit: The 492 should have a sub- out too. You could always keep the best pair of speakers on the rear outputs and fill the sound a bit by adding an active subwoofer
