get the keys to my new house today.

mentioned to my dad(a builder) i wanted to put in a wooden/feature staircase eventually he reckoned that he could get me a nice stair case through a chippie mate that the cost of a carpet would nearly cover – and thus save me decorating the upstairs and downstairs halls twice and the dining room (all rooms affected by changing stairs) if i do it now.

so i googled and found nothing i liked – i thought why not try the first world problem solving place that is STW 😀

its a 3 stairs – landing/turn 90degrees then up and its against a wall – its pretty much the first think you see as you come in the front door

just kinda looking for a photo i can take back to him and say “this is what im aiming for”

thats the impression i got when i looked online at prices too ….

but ill let my dad have his glory and get a quote at least.
