    Sorry if the title is a tad misleading! 🙂

    I have managed to loose one of the connectors for holding the rack onto the seat stays. It is the part in the photos below with the bolt through, which pushes the two tubes together.

    I’ve been trying to work out what rack it is, or where I could source a replacement, but currently drawing blanks. Any help would be much appreciated!

    The problem when buying any spare parts for racks is that they aren’t much less than the price of a new rack!

    If it’s only light loads you’re putting on it one stay will be ok.

    Bit of steel strip from B&Q (or wherever) bit of bending an hammering round a bit of wood or plastic, drill three holes (the wood or plastic will support the shape) and tap one if you need it for the bolt.
    About three quid and half an hour fettling.
