Trying to send email from ntlworld to a company with their own domain email address.

Why do I keep getting the message from mailer-daemon@yahoo.com telling me it failed?

I don’t know, if you read the body text of the bounce it should tell you.

C&P it here if you need it translating into English.

EDIT: Why Yahoo? Because that’s what’s presumably lurking behind their domain name.

Cheers, I assume copy and paste isn’t going to give away anything about me and my account that I shouldn’t share.

I’ll ask again… where did you get the clarksbrakes.com email address?

    There is no clarksbrakes.com

As is being alluded to, your emails are bouncing back as the domain your emailing is invalid.

If you’re trying to contact Clarks, then just use info@clarkscyclesystems.com, as you did in the CC: field, and it should go through fine with no bouncebacks.

i was given that address by the chap I spoke to on the phone as the one above wasn’t working.

    As others have said,

“No MX or A records for clarksbrakes.com” means that clarksbrakes.com doesn’t exist. The chap on the phone was wrong.

Ah, thanks for the explanation. Thought that it was odd that it was a different format to the one on the website but assumed he know his own address.

    That doesn’t exist either.

    …@clarkscycles.com would be my guess.

easy answer is I’ll call him back on Monday. Just wanted to get it sent today while I’ve got the laptop open.

As Cougar says, its probably: http://www.clarkscyclesystems.com, which has a valid MX:

    clarkscyclesystems.com mail exchanger = 10 clarkscyclesystems-com.mail.eo.outlook.com.

I tried to do a wee test for you, but didn’t have a valid domain to send from, and they’re on a hosted platform that’s using RBL- so no further I’m afraid.

Thanks for all your efforts folks. I assume I must have copied the address down incorrectly then. I’ll have to call on Monday.
