    need to get a new rim can anyone comment / recommend these rims, already running XC717 but the 317's a considerably cheaper

    Got XM317 on my Orange 5. Seem fine so far (only a few rides old).

    As far as i can tell they're alot lighter than the DT E540 rims i used to use and are just as stiff.

    I like 'em!
