So the correct response is definitely to blast it with a flamethrower. As long as you aren’t too concerned about maybe wasting some vol-au-vents.

Or nuke it from orbit….

I have done the GT85 flamethrower thing & it came back.

fungal, innit. you’d need to nuke the spores to stop it forever but a good paint with some wood preserver will probably keep it in check.
